Bluemont Vineyard

As we embarked on our photography adventure of Virginia Wine Country, Bluemont Vineyard and Winery in Western Loudoun County was one of our first to photograph and document.  It made an impression.  For a truly a wonderful experience,  a visit to the beautiful Bluemont Vineyard is a must on your Virginia wine travel itinerary.  The location is fabulous and offers a beautiful 1000-foot panoramic view from the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains, overlooks the Loudoun Valley and surrounding countryside and is a delight for wine lovers, photographers and visitors alike.

The winery offers excellent wines from their Viognier “The Goat” (dry white) to their Norton “The Pig” (full-bodied dry red) to their delish fruit wines of Pear, Strawberry and Blackberry.  As  a dessert enthusiast, I use the “Pear” which is exceptional in Pear Tiramisu.  The winery offers a menu for light fare including fresh-baked bread,  farm cheeses and more.

The Bluemont venue “The Stable”  a 6500 sq.ft rustic horse stable overlooking views of the Loudoun Valley is a dream location for your event and wonderful for wedding photography!

The winery also offers other amenities on the premises including “The Lore” a quaint gift shop of one-of-a-kind unique gifts, wine events and entertainment.

Visit Bluemont and enjoy a truly exceptional wine experience.  If you are a photographer or just love to photograph your wine adventures, Bluemont is a delight!
