We have traveled all over Virginia for the last seven years visiting wineries, vineyards, tasting rooms, photographing them and what a ride it has been. Our goal is to visit and photograph every winery/vineyard in Virginia. We belong to many of the wine clubs and attend events which gives us a “birdseye” view “up-close and personal” with the great folks behind the scenes and the opportunity to share our love of good wine and nature with other wine lovers and travelers. The Trump Winery was our last winery to visit in 2012. We have much to share about this winery, its wines, history and more in upcoming posts.
Our recommendation: “New World Red” Vintage 2008 and add Trump Winery to your wine travel schedule.
“Trump Winery is situated in the heart of the Monticello Wine Trail in Charlottesville, Virginia. Just a few miles from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, Trump Winery follows Jefferson’s footsteps in making new world wines inspired by the French wine regions of Bordeaux and Champagne. With a deep sense of place we aim to tie together terroir and innovation.”_Trump Winery
